Effect of Dietary Substitution of Wheat Bran with Dried Brewer’s Spent Grains on Performance and Economics of Growing Crossbred Pigs

Background: Brewers spent grains (BSG), may offer a suitable cheap replacer for traditional feedstuffs. The present study investigated the effect of dietary substitution wheat bran with BSG on performances and production economics crossbred grower pigs . Methods: current was conducted sixty (28 male + 32 female) that were randomly divided into four groups allotted to treatment replacement by 0% (T0), 25% (T1), 50% (T2) 100% (T3) dried against conventional in pig ration. Results: Results indicated significant (P less than 0.05) improvement total body weight gain average daily (ADG) both female T0, T1 T2 when compared T3. significantly lower levels increased up 100 % (T3). Group T3 had 0.01) carcass traits as other groups. feed cost/kg live control group sexes. In conclusion, can tolerate is cost-effective.
